Youth After School Art Program

Summer 2008

When: Tuesday, June 17 (ages 6-8); Wednesday, June 18 (ages 9-12), and Friday, June 20 (ages 13-16).

Six-week sessions, ending the week of July 25, 2008.

What can I expect?

The Youth After School Art Program stresses creative thinking and problem solving. If your child enjoys using their imagination, expressing themselves and making choices, this is the program for them. However if your child prefers to be told exactly what to do and how to do it, this class would not be a good choice.

Time: 9:30-11:00am. Please pick students up promptly after class.

Tuition: $100, Members of the Museum receive a 10% discount on tuition. Students are required to PAY for sessions they do not attend.

Volunteer Opportunities!

Don't just sit at home and watch the paint peal! Give of your time and talents by becoming a museum volunteer.

The museum needs volunteers in the following areas:

Welcoming visitors and answering the telephone (Tuesday through Friday, once a week, shifts from 10a.m.-1p.m. and 1-5 p.m., or Thursdays from 5-7p.m.)
Helping with the after school art program, serving as tour guides, and performing administrative tasks including typing, computer data entry, and mailings.
