Youth After School Art Program
Winter 2010

When: Wednesdays (ages 6-12).

Six week session, beginning January 20, 2010

 

What can I expect?

The Youth After School Art Program stresses creative thinking and problem solving.  If your child enjoys using their imagination and "thinking outside the box," this is the program for them.  Students are encouraged to come "dressed to get messy."  All art supplies are furnished.

Time: 3:45-4:45 p.m.   Please pick up students promptly at 4:45p.m.

Tuition: $100.  Students are required to pay for sessions they do not attend.

Adult's First Art Class
Winter 2010

A non-intimidating "think outside your fears and limitations" approach for adults who feel "art challenged" and would enjoy exploring a variety of media in a relaxed atmosphere.  Strictly for non-professionals.  Try this, you might surprise yourself!

Six sessions beginning Friday, January 22, 2010 from 10-11:30 a.m.

All supplies furnished.  Cost: $50 for members and $60 for non-members.

Volunteer Opportunities!

Don't just sit at home and watch the paint peal! Give of your time and talents by becoming a museum volunteer.

The museum needs volunteers in the following areas:

  • Welcoming visitors and answering the telephone (Tuesday through Friday, once a week, shifts from 10a.m.-1p.m. and 1-5 p.m., or Thursdays from 5-7p.m.)
  • Helping with the after school art program, serving as tour guides, and performing administrative tasks including typing, computer data entry, and mailings.
