Voices From the Warehouse District, a Dubuque Museum of Art off-site exhibition, will kick off Saturday, September 8, from 7 to 11 pm at Wilmac Properties' 1000 Jackson Street warehouse.

Composed of 11 visionary artists, the show will offer a variety of cutting-edge artwork and sensory experiences in a very cool space.  Gene Tully, guest curator, will once again orchestrate the event with the help of many dedicated volunteers.

This years Voices exhibition will also include a theatrical performance by Loras College and Fly-By-Night Theater Troupe: Shakespeare Live - theater with an artistic twist, showing opening night and during selected special events.

In cooperation with the Dubuque Museum of Art, this event is generously sponsored by:

The third installment of thought-provoking art, fine food, and mood-lifting refreshments.

 9   Gallery Hours 1-5 pm, free admission

12  Special Event

The City of Dubuque presents: The Making Of an All-America City

Produced by The City of Dubuque, Dubuque Racing Association, Gary Olsen and Jim Barefoot.

Refreshments provided.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, Screening at 7 pm

Free and open to the public.  Children and adults welcome.

15  Gallery Hours 1-5 pm, free admission

Chicago Short Film Brigade - Sponsored by Prudential Financial
Screening appropriate for ages 15 and up.
Musical guest, Occidental Brothers, Afro Pop from Chicago (http://occidentalbrothers.com/news.html)
Picked by Andrew Bird and Xan Aranda as currently the best live act in Chicago.
