Help Wanted!
FABRIC DONATIONS NEEDED:
We are seeking donations of fabric to make costumes and banners. We will accept fabric yardages of 2 yards or more, of solid color cottons, muslin, velvet, velveteen or brocade fabrics. People with fabric to donate should call or drop off donations to the Dubuque Museum of Art between 10am and 4pm, Tuesday through Friday. Call 557-1851.
The Dubuque Renaissance Faire needs MATERIALS DONATED to make this event happen! Remember, donations are tax deductible and earn you complimentary tickets to our festival. Email Edwin Ritts, Jr. at: eritts@dbqart.com
Hay or Straw Bales for seating
Wood and Paint for creating signs
Fabric for banners, flags & pennants
Ribbons for streamers
Set materials - a large fiberglass Ice Cream Cone sculpture (20 feet?) onsite needs to be disguised temporarily as a castle tower
Assorted hardware
Printing - for brochures, posters and the festival program
Motel/Hotel rooms for performers - two nights for each room; May 30 & 31, 2008

Sell ads for the showguide
Contact companies to request donations
Paint signs
Sew banners, flags & pennants
Design and build and assemble a castle tower set around a large Ice Cream Cone Sculpture on the festival site
Sell advance tickets at locations in and around Dubuque
Decorate the festival site on Friday, May 30, 2008
Clean-up the festival site on Monday, June 2, 2008
First Aid workers on both days of the festival
Security workers on both days of the festival
Parking Lot attendants on both days of the festival
Volunteers and Donating companies will be thanked on our website and in our program and receive complimentary tickets to the event.
