Travel back to a time of adventure and romance, magic and mayhem! Encounter Knights, Ladies, Wenches, Rogues, Fairies, Pirates and more, whilst sampling tempting foods such as roasted meats, savory sandwiches, home-brewed root beer, luscious pies and tarts, Iowa wines, beer and ale. Meet Queen Catherine, King Edward and their royal court - photograph your child being knighted or selected a lady in waiting or learn about renaissance manners, dances and weapons. Be thrilled by swordplay, jugglers, and storytellers. Sing along with madrigals, celtic music and pub songs. Laugh at the comedy of the Wenches of Canterbury, the pirate troupe Predators of the Sea and be enchanted by Robin Hood, Little John, Queen Titania and her fairy court, Mother Earth and other colorful village characters. Take in the village shops; purchase one of a kind keepsakes, hand-made pieces of art, period clothing, toys and treasures.

We proudly announce our headline appearance by Molotov the Gypsy at the Dubuque Renaissance Faire.

Read more about this amazing performer on our Entertainment page.

Many performers are already committed to appear at this exciting event, but we are still auditioning; we are particularly looking for a sword-fighting troupe to join us as well as "lane musicians".
