This magical event returns for its third year, with a new location and new, exciting entertainment. The Dubuque Renaissance Faire is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 22 and 23, 2010. A fundraiser for the Dubuque Museum of Art, the Dubuque Renaissance Faire has moved to a new location at the YMCA Union Park Camp at 11764 JFK Road. Our new location allows the festival to grow larger and offer our patrons even more family fun.
Sponsored again by Dubuque Bank & Trust, the Dubuque Renaissance Faire is proud to announce the appearance of Joust Evolution. Step into history and cheer for armored knights on horseback as they clash in combat on the tiltyard field. Meet the Queen and King, enjoy jugglers, musicians and swordplay and sample a turkey leg and other fabulous food. Stroll through a marketplace featuring dozens of vendors offering jewelry, clothing, pottery, swords, leather, glass and more!
Ticket prices remain at the same low rates as our first two years. YMCA members will receive a discount. The event is open rain or shine from 10 – 5 both days. Visit our website at: www.dbqart.com/DMAFaire.htm for more information about the faire.

The Dubuque Renaissance Faire is thrilled to announce Dubuque Bank & Trust as the sponsor of our 2010 season. Our partnership with DB&T is allowing us to keep our ticket prices at the same low price as our first season, making it affordable for parents and grandparents to bring the kids and for students to step through our gates and into an amazing day of adventure!
